Intro
Samsung Electronics CO. Ltd. is unquestionably the most important company for the South Korean economy and a world leader in electronics Innovation Company. It is the world's largest technology company in terms of revenues, the largest mobile phone maker and television manufacturer and second largest semiconductor chip producer. If it currently occupies a prominent place on the world market, it does remains that Samsung continued to seek business opportunities and explore in all markets where the company will expand its empire.
This study is a general analysis of Samsung Electronics to develop a comprehensive picture of the company. The goal is to clearly identify the different aspects that make up Samsung and is to assess, in a second step, the possibilities and opportunities for this company to come and invest in Quebec. The analysis will be divided into three distinct parts: first, we will develop the overall picture of the company in dealing with the history, mission, values and products manufactured. Second, we will focus on the strategic intentions of the company using a SWAT analysis, identifying areas where Samsung currently invested and identifying key sectors covered by this company. Finally, we will establish some recommendations for potential investment of Samsung in the Quebec economy.
The purpose of this paper is to identify the major trends related to Samsung. Of course, this is a first draft inspired by previous study carried out, which may be designed and developed in the coming months , especially after a possible meeting with Samsung’s leaders.
In addition, the Samsung Group is a multinational company that invested in several different areas. For example, there is a Samsung finance division, aerospace, insurance, Samsung Techwin, Everland, Engenineering, Heavy industries, Cheil Worldwide, etc. Deal with all these divisions would undermine this analysis. In order to focus on one of the flagships of the company, we will focus exclusively on Samsung Electronics which is the main division of the company.

To understand what about Samsung would be potentially interested in investing, it is important to have a general picture of the company. To this end, this part of our study attempts to trace the history of the company, identifying the vision, philosophy and objectives of Samsung as well as a brief summary of the products marketed by the company.
